EVALD (Evaluator of Discourse) are freely available software applications developed at the Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the Charles University in Prague. They serve for automatic evaluation of surface text coherence. The EVALD application evaluates texts written by native speakers of Czech, the EVALD for Foreigners evaluates texts written by non-native speakers of Czech.
