NameTag 3 distinguishes between licensing of the software itself and licensing of the trained models.

NameTag 3 software (the code) is distributed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, which permits both non-commercial and commercial use.

NameTag 3 trained models (the data) are generally distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. This license permits non-commercial use but does not permit commercial use.

For selected trained models, we also offer a separate license permitting commercial use. Commercial licensing is currently available for:

• NameTag 3 Czech CNEC 2.0 Model
• NameTag 3 Multilingual CL Model
