Workshop goal

LINDAT DSpace is a digital repository system meeting the requirements put on a modern, flexible and CLARIN compatible digital repository. Daily, it serves many GBs of linguistic data across different CLARIN centres. However, with the increasing number of centres deploying the system and performing some local adaptations, it is time to improve the development system in order to join the effort of all partners, reflect their priorities, speed up the development, minimise overlap of efforts, and to keep the project sustainable.

The proposed workshop will explore the priorities of CLARIN centres that use LINDAT DSpace and try to come up with a plan for collaborative development. Furthermore it will draw a mid-term roadmap. The workshop will produce a concrete implementation plan with timelines, including a plan on how to handle local adaptations and differences in each deployment.
