Tirthankar Ghosal

Dr. Tirthankar Ghosal was a Post Doctoral researcher at the Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics (ÚFAL). He did his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna in India. At ÚFAL, he worked with Prof. Ondřej Bojar in the EU H2020 European Live Translator (ELITR) and Neural Representations in Multi-modal and Multi-lingual Modelling (NEUREM3) projects. He primarily worked on Automatic Minuting of Multiparty Meeting Conversations (Meeting Summarization). He was the lead organizer of the AutoMin shared tasks (in Interspeech 2021 and INLG 2023) and SummDial special sessions (in SIGDial 2021 and SemDial 2022). Currently he is a scientist at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the United States.
