ESSLLI 2026

WELCOME RECEPTION

DATE: Monday, August 3rd, 7pm-9pm

VENUE: Front entrance of Faculty of Civil Engineering (main venue building)

DESCRIPTION: Official opening of ESSLLI 2026 with a humble buffet and drinks, in the building of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Finger food (vegan & vegetarian) and drinks provided (free of charge for registered ESSLLI participants).

 

PIANO CONCERT AND OPEN AIR DINNER

DATE: Friday, August 7th, 7pm

• BBQ: Front entrance of Faculty of Civil Engineering (main venue building)

DESCRIPTION: End the first week of ESSLLI and ring in the weekend together at a casual open air BBQ! Vegan and non-vegan delicasies and other bbq style food, together with Czech beer and soft drinks will be provided for all ESSLLI participants. Enjoy the green campus area of Czech Technical University while socializing with your fellow students.

 

TRADITIONAL STUDENT-LECTURER FOOTBALL MATCH

DATE: Tuesday, August 11, 7pm

VENUE: TBA

DESCRIPTION: Traditional football match lecturers (if they show up) vs. students. More info to come - bring your sneakers! ⚽ (Subject to availability of a field to play on)

 

STUS CLOSING AND CLOSING CEREMONY

DATE: Friday, August 14th, 6:50pm-7:30pm

VENUE: D1122, after classes

DESCRIPTION: The official closing of ESSLLI 2026 will take place after regular classes on Friday, August 14th. It includes the official announcement of the host university for ESSLLI 2027.
