Abstract: Both explicit discourse relations, which are marked with connections, and implicit ones, which are not, play a role in determining the structure of discourse. In this talk, I will present general annotation principles used in the TüBa-DZ, the linguist tests used to increase the reliability of the annotation, and some results automatic classification using subgraph features.
