TLT 2006 Prague, Czech Republic

Style Guidelines

PLEASE NOTE:

These Guidelines now apply to camera-ready papers as well!

NO extra accompanying message needed - just put all author(s) info in the paper as usual.

Please note that this time, we require full papers (max. length: 12 pages A4 conforming to these guidelines) to be submitted, describing existing research related to the topics of the workshop. Please note that as reviewing will be blind, the submissions should not include the authors' names and affiliations. Furthermore, self-references that reveal the author's identity, e.g., "We previously showed (Smith, 1991) ...", should be avoided. Instead, use citations such as "Smith previously showed (Smith, 1991)...". Electronic submission is strongly encouraged. The language of the TLT Workshop is English, and all papers should also be submitted in well-checked English.

The submission style guidelines below are identical to the final paper (camera-ready) requirements, to help you spend as less time as possible for the final version (if your paper is accepted), since the deadlines are tight this year.

Submission versions of the papers (again, not exceeding 12 pages in length) should be submitted by e-mail to submit@tlt2006.org (or directly to tlt06@ufal.mff.cuni.cz) clearly indicating in the subject line "TLT06 submission". In the accompanying message, please include:

Deadline for submissions is fixed at September 8, 2006, midnight UTC. For more info about the time schedule, see the original Call for Papers.

The style guidelines follow the specifications of the previous (TLT 2005) workshop (the final papers will be again printed in B5 format, without size reduction - thus the large margins). For illustration, we provide a sample of a full paper tlt2006-sub.pdf, available also in its LaTeX source tlt2006-sub.tex.

If you are not able to submit your contribution in either of the formats mentioned below, or if you have any other problems esp. with typesetting, please contact submit@tlt2006.org .

The formatting should match the example document as closely as possible. In particular, the following specifications should be met:
