Accomodation possibilities
For a few fine hotels or residences in our immediate neighborhood, we have pre-negotiated prices for the conference participants. These hotels are located in historic (but recently renovated) buildings in the very historic center of Prague, within a very short distance to the conference venue at the Unviersity building at Malostranske square 25 as well as to the famous touristic places like the Charles Bridge, Lesser Town, Old Town, and the Prague Castle. There are some other hotels near the conference venue (you can in fact see some of them on the map above, as a blue building symbol with a white bed inside, but their current prices (for November/December) do apply). Please remember this is the VERY historic center of the city with prices of these four-star hotels usually comparable to those in London or New York.
Of course, you are welcome to use any other accommodation facility you find through the web or other information channels. And yes, the public transport (especially the underground, or "METRO") is reliable and fast; however, the venue being in the historic center, the closest underground station is a good 10 min. walk "MALOSTRANSKA", green line ("A").
