A special case of construction with the meaning of difference are constructions with the set expression čím dál tím or just čím dál.
Non-verbal idiom "čím dál tím". In this type of construction, the expressions čím dál tím or čím dál are analyzed as non-verbal idioms (for the rules, see Section 8, "Idioms (phrasemes)"): the node representing čím has the DIFF functor and depends on the node for the comparative. The other expressions (dál tím or just dál) form the dependent part of the idiom (t_lemma=dál_tím or t_lemma=dál; functor=DPHR). Cf:
