  • http.//www.dpp.cz Prague public transport
  • http://www.idos.cz is a very useful link to find your train, bus and public transport connection. Although it is Czech, it can find most of European railway stations and bus terminals.
  • http://www.mapy.cz is a link to an electronic map of the Czech Republic with a very good search system. Just type the name or address of your hotel and it should find it. GPS coordinates of Malostranska square: N 50°05'17.42", E 14°24'13.28".
The public transport is being recommended to you on this page. It is quite reliable and safe. Safe to the extent as any Capital City may be, but certainly not safer. Beware of pickpockets! They are in action in the most frequented places as the Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí), the Main Railway Station (Hlavní nádraľí) and on metro stations and metro trains in the city centre. Also, some tram lines have a bad reputation (No. 22 going through the centre). Always try not to be alone when using trams at night.
