Description:

This package contains a conversion script for TIGER Corpus XML format to PML and back, and a stylesheets for visualization of the resulting PML in TrEd.

Warning: In the original Tiger Treebank 1.0, there were no edges connecting punctuation to trees. The conversion contained in this extension makes all the punctuation nodes into children of the topmost nonterminal with a special label $. When converting back to TigerXML, all the edges with such a label are deleted.

Installation

This extension can be installed directly from TrEd, using Setup >> Manage Extensions >> Get New Extensions; just make sure the repository http://ufal.mff.cuni.cz/tred/extensions/core/ is enabled in Setup >> Manage Extensions >> Edit Repositories.
