About the Meeting

The PIRE project (Investigation of Meaning Representations in Language Understanding for Speech Reconstruction and Machine Translation Systems) meeting is the fifth in the row of meetings where U.S. and European students meet, sometimes combined with other events, such as the Prague VMC school in 2008 or the IRTG workshop in Germany in June 2009.

Talks and social events are being organized during these meetings, and Prague 2009 is no exception. There will ba get-together dinner on Friday, Dec. 11 in the center of the City and a social program with Prague students on Sunday, Dec. 13, with the scientific talks presented by all four partners of the project on Saturday.

The meeting takes place in the historic building of the Computer Science School in the center of city (Lesser Town, see the link in the left).
