Instructions for Presenters

Form of presentation

All system description papers will be presented as posters; some papers have been selected for an oral introductory presentation. Following the EACL 2009 model, each such introduction will be given an extended period of time - 10 minutes (with no discussion, no breaks).

Timing

The introductory session will take place June 4, 2009, from 2pm to 3:40pm. Please see the Program page for the exact timing of the presentations.

The poster session will be 110 minutes long, starting at 4:10pm and finishing at 6pm.

Poster boards

Twenty poster boards will be available for displaying the posters. The size of the board is 30h x 38w inches (75h x 95w cm), "landscape" orientation (i.e., the A1-landscape paper size poster will fit, but A0 will not). Pushpins will be provided. The posters should be put up during the lunch break before the first session of the Shared Task (i.e., before the introductory presentation and the block of the 10-minute introductory oral presentations). Please watch any further announcements on this page and on the conference information board for exact placement of the poster boards for the CoNLL-2009 Shared Task at the conference venue.

Equipment

For the oral introductory talks the usual equipment (dataprojector, audio) will be provided by the organizers.
